The Ingram Valley is full of wildlife. You may encounter grouse, pheasants, deer and red squirrels while exploring the open space. There are plenty of walks for all abilities straight from the front door and it is a great location for mountain biking. Just 2 miles walk across the fells is Linhope Spout, an impressive waterfall. There is a shop in the village of Powburn, and pubs, cafes and shops in nearby Wooler.
