Lower North Aisle is located on the second floor of the converted Abbey Church. It is a fantastic and spacious 2 bedroom apartment with the benefit of a large open plan kitchen/dining room/reception area. Given its elevated position it has great views over the estate. This apartment also contains some of the large and impressive exposed sandstone columns which support the vaulted roof of the former church. The apartment is accessed from the gothic Cloisters and then through the large Atrium.

The Abbey Church is linked to the rest of the development and its facilities by the gothic arches and gargoyles of the central cloister (formerly the Fort’s parade ground). High quality towels and bedding are provided. Free Wi-Fi is available in The Highland Club Lounge.
The Highland Club is just a 2 minute walk from the village of Fort Augustus where you can find a variety of stores and places to eat and also organise your boat trip to try and spot the legendary Nessie!
The small gym is located on the floor below with weights, running, rowing and cycling equipment.It should be noted that the swimming pool complex is closed until further notice.
For those who wish to enjoy the grounds and setting further there is a huge host of additional on-site amenities which include a BBQ area, an Outdoor Adventure playground for the children, Tennis court, 5 a-side football, Badminton net, Table Tennis, Croquet and Boules, Giant chess and Cricket.
There is also a bike hire facility on-site.
After a long day of activities guests can relax or meet new friends in the beautiful Club Lounge where they will find a full size snooker table, table football, a games cupboard and comfortable sofas and chairs (many covered in the unique Highland Club tartan).
