Description

A refurbished and decorated single-storey detached bungalow only yards from the centre of Seahouses village, yet offering secluded peaceful accommodation. Godetia is only a five minute walk from Seahouses beach and, at low tide, you can even walk along the beach from Seahouses to Bamburgh. The bungalow has been finished to a high standard with good quality furnishings and a lovely private fully enclosed garden.

A two minute stroll from the bungalow brings you to the centre of Seahouses with its array of shops, pubs, restaurants and harbour, from where wildlife lovers can take boat trips across to the Farne Islands. There is a large Co-op store for your general groceries and some speciality local vendors - Swallow's Fish, Trotter's bakery and Cox's ice-cream are all local traditions in the area.

At Godetia you are perfectly located to visit Northumberland's renowned castles, the closest being Bamburgh Castle, just two miles away. Enjoy several links golf courses: Seahouses Golf Club within walking distance as well as Dunstanburgh Castle Golf Club and Bamburgh Castle Golf Club, both within a 15 minute drive. For the more adventurous there are a variety of water and bike sports including equipment hire available from Boards and Bikes. Many coastal walks await you in this part of Northumberland - perhaps visit the fishing village of Craster and walk to Dunstanburgh Castle.
