Description

April Cottage stands on an elevated position, with breathtaking views towards Holy Island and the Northumbrian Coast in the village of Middleton, near Belford and Bamburgh. It is tastefully decorated with modern comforts, and traditional features keeping with the country cottage style. It has a beautiful spacious lawn perfect for enjoying sunny days and evenings, and a games room in the log cabin, perfect for entertaining families. Shop: 1.2 miles Pub: 1.2 miles.

The Holy Island of Lindisfarne is only a short drive away, cut off twice-daily from the rest of the world by fast moving tides. It is a beautiful part of the county, with a pretty walk up to Lindisfarne Castle and towards upturned boats used as storage sheds. Lindisfarne Priory is full of rich history and there are some delightful pubs and cafes on the island. Nearby is also Budle Bay, a protected bird sanctuary, a haven for birdwatchers. Bamburgh Village with its castle and sandy beach, and Seahouses with its boat trips to the Farne Islands are both only a short drive away.

Bedroom 1 with single bed, views of the garden and surrounding countryside.

Shower room with double headed shower and grab rail, WC, washbasin and underfloor heating.

 

First floor:

Bedroom 2 with double bed, and stunning views of the coast, Holy Island and it’s castle. En suite with double headed shower, WC and washbasin.

Bedroom 3 with twin beds, feature exposed wall.

Log cabin games room: WiFi, foosball table, table tennis and darts board.

Outside: Pretty enclosed garden with outdoor picnic table and two patios, barbecue.

Parking: Driveway parking for 2 cars.

Heating: Oil fired central heating.

Also provided: WiFi, bed linen and towels. Books and games. Storage for bikes.

Pets: 2 dogs are welcome @ £25 per pet per week or part thereof. Please note, pets are not allowed on the furniture or left in the property unsupervised.
