Cherry Blossom is a fantastic two bed, ground floor holiday cottage in Adderstone, close to the pretty village of Lucker. It is one of six properties in Adderstone that are part of the Bamburgh First Collection.
Cherry Blossom has level access from the front door, and all passageways and doorways have been widened to allow wheelchair access. It also provides a disabled parking space at the front of the cottage. At the rear, patio doors lead to a courtyard. There is a step down to the patio area, but there is also a level path around the side of the property that will allow wheelchair access to the patio.
It is located between the A1 and the scenic coastal village of Bamburgh. Adderstone is an attractive and accessible rural area, ideally positioned in the heart of the Northumbrian countryside, perfect for those wishing to explore the many historic and iconic local sites nearby. Bamburgh is a 10 minute drive with its stunning Castle and beach, and Alnwick, 20 minutes with the fantastic Alnwick Castle and Gardens, and second hand bookstore, Barter Books. The Holy Island of Lindisfarne is 25 minutes to the North, and the Cheviot Hills 20 minutes to the West. Shop: 0.6 miles (service station) Pub: 1.1 miles.

The Bamburgh First collection was created by the owner, because they believed many second homes were filled with furniture and fittings owners didn’t want in their main house. The owner wanted to create accommodation as beautiful as the setting, and each house in the collection has been decorated by a professional interior designer. The owner has also included personal touches of a sweetie tin and a voucher for a pound of Bamburgh Banger sausages.
Lovely cottage with all modern amenities. Nice trip down memory lane as it has been quite a few years since we have been to Northumberland. We will certainly return shortly. Thank you for the treats and property attention to a few minor details.
Lovely comfortable cottage in a peaceful setting and good location. Thank you for the little extras!
