Q. How do I find my cottage?
The location of your cottage is indicated on the Grace Darling map which can be reached through a link on the cottage page. Once full payment has been received, directions will be sent to you.
Q. When should we arrive and depart?
We will contact you before your arrival date to arrange key collection. Check in time is 16:00 and we would like for you to vacate the property by 10:00am on the morning of departure. Early arrivals and late departures may be possible for a fee at the last minute. Please call us to check if this is possible on 01665 721 332.
Q. Is smoking allowed in any of the cottages?
No, all of the cottages are strictly non-smoking.
Q. Are pets allowed in the cottages?
Many of our cottages allow dogs and this is clearly indicated on the information panel. However dogs are not permitted on the furniture or in the bedrooms. They must not be left unattended in any property and we ask that you respect your neighbours.
Q. How should we report damages or breakages
All breakages or damages must be reported immediately on 01665 721332. The holidaymaker is responsible for all costs incurred to replace broken or damaged items. Grace Darling Holidays and or 'The Cottage Owner' reserve the right to charge the holidaymaker for all costs.

Q. Are towels, linen, pillows and duvets supplied?
Please check the details listed on the cottage you are booking. If you have any special requirements, please let us know before you arrival.
Q. Do you accommodate young children and babies?
Most of our properties can accommodate infants and babies. Please check the details listen on the cottage you are booking, or give us a call if you are unsure.
Q. Do all the cottages have wood burning stoves?
Although many of the cottages do contain wood burning stoves, unfortunately not all of them do. Please check the contents of each cottage on its page if you require one.
Q. Is fuel provided?
Yes, electricity, oil and some cottages will even supply logs for the fire - please ask about individual properties.
Q. What do we do if we have any problems?
It is unlikely, but if you feel that you have a genuine complaint in respect of any aspect of your holiday home, then this should immediately be reported to Grace Darling Holidays. We will always endeavour to resolve the matter and refer it to the cottage owner. Complaints must be reported immediately and we will not address any issues raised on departure or after your return home.
