A visit to Northumberland would be a perfect way to relax during your free time in Spring, for instance in Spring Bank Holidays on 1st May and on 28th May. With miles of stunning coastline, the location is declared an area of outstanding beauty (and for good reason.) It is the ideal getaway from the crowds and noise of city life - with vast beach areas and coastal paths devoid of crowds.

The Angel: If in the Corbridge area, a good place to dine with the family is the Angel. A warm and intimate ambience and terrific food make it the ideal place to head to for a meal with the family. Neptune Fish and Chips: For the finest fish and chips in Northumberland, it is recommended that you have ameal at Neptune Fish and Chips. A great atmosphere complemented with the best of tasty cod and succulent chips. Wash it down with a warm and refreshing cup of tea.

The Cook and Barker: While there are quite a few great seafood joints in the area, the Cook and Barker located at Newton-on-the-Moor, near Morpeth, is a fantastic place to have a meal. The staff is friendly so visitors can always expect a hearty welcome and the food is wholesome and delicious - all of which is sourced locally including fresh fish from the area. Its quiet and tranquil location with a great menu makes it a favourite with locals and visitors.
