Bamburgh Castle
Bamburgh Castle stands on a massive, 180-foot high basalt crag, giving all-round views of the coast and surrounding countryside. Remnants of what experts believe could be an ancient church has recently been found in a chance discovery at Bamburgh Castle.
Alnwick Castle is very much a living castle, still our family home, as it has been for seven hundred years. Alnwick Castle is also a popular film location, for everything from Harry Potter to Elizabeth to Becket to Blackadder.
Chillingham Castle
Since 1246 this Castle has been owned by one continuous blood line with the Earls Grey ruling the Castle for the founding centuries. Those Grey Lords built the Castle's alarming dungeons and torture chambers, as well as the beautiful parklands and gardens.

Bamburgh Golf Course 
Bamburgh Castle Golf Club has been called the most beautiful course in Britain, if not the world. It's a hilltop links with staggering views. They always make non-members welcome unless there is a competition which is usually a Saturday during the summer between 8am and 5pm.
Alnwick Golf Course
An outstanding coruse with panoramic views out to sea. Alnwick stages summer open competitions for club members. Signature hole: the 12th known as the 'Lang Whang' - an uphill dog leg (left) par 5 culminating in a raised green.

Alnwick Garden
There's so much to explore at The Alnwick Garden, including acres of fascinating plants, water sculptures, the infamous Poison Garden and one of the world's largest wooden tree houses, 364 days a year.
Farne Islands
The Farne Islands lie two to three miles off the Northumberland coast midway between the fishing village of Seahouses and the magnificent Castle of Bamburgh. As well as being the most famous Sea Bird Sanctuary in the British Isles they also have a large colony of Atlantic or Grey Seals.
