
Bamburgh Castle
Bamburgh Castle stands on a massive, 180-foot high basalt crag, giving all-round views of the coast and surrounding countryside. Remnants of what experts believe could be an ancient church has recently been found in a chance discovery at Bamburgh Castle.
Alnwick Castle is very much a living castle, still our family home, as it has been for seven hundred years. Alnwick Castle is also a popular film location, for everything from Harry Potter to Elizabeth to Becket to Blackadder.
Chillingham Castle
Since 1246 this Castle has been owned by one continuous blood line with the Earls Grey ruling the Castle for the founding centuries. Those Grey Lords built the Castle's alarming dungeons and torture chambers, as well as the beautiful parklands and gardens.

Farne Islands
