The Copper Kettle sits right in the heart of Bamburgh village serving a broad range of home cooked and fresh sandwiches, light meals, a brunch menu and a vast array of cakes and scones - and, of course tea and coffee.

 

The tea room was voted #1 Café in Bamburgh, but also came in #3 place for restaurants in the TripAdvisor ranking. The Copper Kettle consists of two rooms and a patio inviting you to sit outside when the weather allows it. Inside, you will find mahogany panelling and dark-wood furniture which gives of a cosy, history loaded atmosphere.

The Apple Core is closed on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, but is offering Take Away Services on their open days, too. 

The Apple Core is a family owned restaurant that specialises in mediterranean dishes such as pizza, pasta and meat meals.  They also offer traditional French crepes and galettes for desert.

 

The restaurant is actually a converted school and, foodwise, a rather unique find in Bamburgh as it’s not specialising in seafood. It’s offering both vegetarian and vegan options and also gluten free food.
