Struan is a three storey late Victorian fully modernised house set in the middle of the village of Bamburgh. There is a large south facing garden with parking for three to four cars.
This is an area of outstanding natural beauty with a unique historic legacy. Within easy reach of the village, with its 18th century stone cottages, medieval church, and spectacular castle standing 150ft above sea level, there is a choice of intriguing visits. The village shop is three minutes away and there's a butchers, various public houses and restaurants in the village. There is a golf course about half a mile away.
The cottage enjoys views of Bamburgh Castle and Lindisfarne Castle in the distance. To the front of the garden is a pleasantly paved raised terrace. To the rear is a very large south facing walled garden with a range of out buildings, one of which has a W.C. There is patio garden furniture and chairs to relax on. This garden is completely enclosed making it great for kids of all ages.
Ground floor: Dining room with a large dining table and chairs, drawing room, breakfast room, and fully fitted kitchen.
First floor: Double bedroom (overlooking the Castle, tennis courts and cricket pitch), second double bedroom, single bedroom and triple bedroom with a bunk bed and single (all with lovely views).
Mid landing: One bathroom and one shower-room.
Second floor: Double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a single bedroom.
Facilities: Telephone point with pay phone, freeview TV, DVD, electric fire, central heating, dish-washer, microwave, fridge with small freezer compartment, toaster, cooker, hob, washing machine, dryer and a further freezer.
