The cottage is just a 5 minute drive to Bamburgh and its magnificent sandy beach, overshadowed  by the fabulous castle. A 15 minute drive further inland will bring you to Wooler, the gateway to the Cheviot Hills. Whatever your interest, with close and easy access to the A1, exploring and getting around the countryside couldn’t be easier.

The Retreat is situated in an area known as 'The Kaims' along with Shepherds Cottage. It is a protected area and abounds with nature and wildlife. Buzzards, kestrels, families of deer and owls nest in the adjacent woodland - peace and tranquility at its best. Both properties can be booked together to create accommodation for up to 10 people.
