A former farm steading, this impressive property has been renovated to a very high standard. The location is second to none situated in a stunning rural area between the A1 and the charming coastal village of Bamburgh. Old Farm is a short drive from the sandy beaches of Bamburgh and for the explorers there’s easy access to the Castle, Alnwick, Wooler, Holy Island and the Cheviots.
Split over two floors, the cottage has two bedrooms on the ground floor. The master has an en-suite wet room and the second ground floor bedroom has a king size bed. There are two bedrooms on the first floor, a double and a twin. Two family bathrooms are within this property with one on each floor. Every passage way and doorway on the lower level has been widened to allow for wheelchair access.
Parking can be found to the front of the property whilst a small flat mono-blocked area can be used as a drop off point for guests who may be less stable on their feet. Patio doors at the rear of the cottage lead in to a fully enclosed courtyard with a barbeque, picnic table and grassed area perfect for those rainy days.
There is level access to the property leading into a small hallway, two downstairs bedrooms, a bathroom and an open plan dinning, kitchen and lounge area.
The fully fitted kitchen has marble worktops whilst the dining area is suitable for 8 people. A spacious dining area allows wheelchair access but the worktops have not been lowered to wheelchair height.
Located to rear of the property the lounge is a large airy space with high ceilings, a wood burning stove and seats eight people comfortably to enjoy watching the TV. Patio doors lead out to the garden.
The downstairs bathroom is a tiled room with toilet, wash hand basin, bathtub and shower over the bath.
Bedroom 1 is large room furnished with a Zip and Link bed, which can be either a super king, double or twin singles. Complete with two bedside tables, reading lamps, a wardrobe, dressing table with mirror. A tiled en-suite bathroom is handy and is a wet-room, which is suitable for disabled guests, complete with shower, sink and toilet.
Bedroom 2 is a small room with a king size bed, two bedside tables with reading lights and a small hanging area for your belongings.
A bright stairway leads to two bedrooms. The first bedroom has a large double with king size bed. It has two bedside tables with reading lights and mirrored wardrobe.
The second bedroom is a small twin with bedside table and reading light. A vanity area is provided with a small hanging space for clothing is on the landing area outside of the bedroom.
The upstairs bathroom is tiled throughout with a toilet, wash hand basin, bathtub and shower over the bath.

Dogs are welcome at this property at a fee of £25 per dog.
