Within a couple of minutes walk from No 6, Armstrong Cottage you will find the wonderful golden beach and beautiful sand dunes of Bamburgh, one of the most picturesque parts of the area of Northumberland. With a stunning coastline stretching for many miles, it is perfect for walkers and cyclists to explore and enjoy.
A short walk from the cottage will also take you to the charming village centre where you will discover a fine selection of shops, cafes and restaurants. Perhaps more notable, and indeed noticeable, is the magnificent Bamburgh Castle. As one of the largest inhabited castles in the country, it is an iconic historical attraction extremely popular with tourists and holidaymakers.
No 6, Armstrong Cottage provides single level accommodation for four and is positioned within a large enclosed garden. The outdoor space is well maintained, contains garden furniture and boasts a spectacular view of the castle.
Ground Floor
The spacious living room and dining area is comfortable and homely with ample seating, open fire, flat screen TV, DVD player and CD player/radio.
The newly fitted kichen, decorated is soft neutral tones, is bright and modern. It is well equipped for self catering with electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine/tumble dryer and a good selection of accessories and utensils.
The double bedroom has a pleasant feel and offers a fantastic view of the spectacular castle. The twin bedroom is bright and comfortable with a delightful outlook over the beach and sand dunes.
The recently updated bathroom has underfloor heating, electric towel rail and a shower over the bath.
