Bamburgh, with its imposing castle and long sandy beaches and Seahouses, with a working harbour, shops and seasonal boat trips are both just a short drive away.
The Maltings has the bonus of three idyllic jetty cottages looking directly over the bay - ideal for dining, a retreat or to watch the many unusual birds that visit Budle Bay.

Activities
There are many fabulous walks and cycle routes in the area. Alnwick Castle and gardens are only 30 minutes drive away. Golf, riding, sea fishing, watersports nearby. There is also great access to the A1 to explore further afield (Berwick and the Metro Centre are an hour's drive).
