Kent Cottage

Kent Cottage is situated in the village of Bamburgh. This lovely quiet holiday cottage sleeps 8 people and is a short 5 minute walk across the sand dunes to the magnificent beach, Bamburgh Castle and to the village centre.

The cottage has undergone an extensive refurbishment in late 2009 and boasts high quality fixtures and fittings. You will also find beautiful, carefully chosen soft furnishings and all the extra little touches that make for a great holiday. Kent Cottage has 4 double bedrooms and two bathrooms (both with showers). Two have king size double beds and two with twin beds which can be zip and linked to form superking doubles. All of the bedrooms have been dressed in pretty linens to match the decoration.

The living room has an open fire, comfortable sofas, flat screen TV with full Sky package, a DVD player, ipod docking station and a digital radio. From the bay window there is a fantastic view of the castle.

There is a large spacious kitchen/diner with a dishwasher, fridge, range style cooker, microwave and digital radio.The dining area overlooks the garden and sits 8 comfortably. There is also a sofa. The utility room is equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer and fridge freezer. The utility room is large and offers ample storage for footwear, coats and jackets.

There is private parking for 3 cars and a large enclosed garden to the rear equipped with a barbecue. Well behaved dogs are very welcome.

Facilities

Linen and towels are provided, as is fuel for the fire. The cottage also has a travel cot (no bed linen provided), high chair and a baby bath. There is a selection of games, books and DVDs. TV/Freeview, DVD player, cooker, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge/freezer. Heating and power costs (electric, oil and coal) are inclusive.

Activities

The North Northumberland coastline offers visitors a huge number of things to do, including walking, golf, boat trips, fishing, diving, bird watching and horse riding. There are also magical castles to visit and miles of long, sandy beaches to enjoy. The historic towns of Berwick and Alnwick (don't forget the Castle, Alnwick Garden and Barter books) are just a short car trip away.
