Bamburgh Village
Hill Head is a magnificent Edwardian family home with spacious accommodation on three levels and a wealth of history. Set in a peaceful country village location with stunning views of the coast, Cheviot Hills and Bamburgh Castle, Hill Head is only a short walk from the shops, beaches and local amenities which Bamburgh has to offer.
Beautifully restored, Hill Head has been in the ownership of the same family for nearly half a century and is furnished with a number of heirlooms which will be of interest to the modern traveller. With five bedrooms as well as two additional roll away beds and a fold out sofa bed*, Hill Head is ideal for large groups of friends and family gatherings.
Ground Floor
The ground floor consists of a large living room with open fire, flat screen TV, DVD player and comfy sofas. Light streams in through the glass walls of the vinery (which is not in use). There is a traditional dining room which seats ten and an open fire overlooking a well kept lawn and secure country garden. The modern kitchen is complete with sleek granite worktops and an original working bell box. The kitchen also features a central preparation island and sink, large fridge/freezer with ice maker and a Rangemaster double oven. Leading off from the kitchen is the utility area with large load washing machine, tumble dryer and ground floor cloak room.
First Floor
The first floor landing forms a large open, light space with TV. Leading off is the master king size bedroom with en suite bath/shower room. There is a second large king size bedroom, whilst the third bedroom has bunk beds which are great for the children in your party. The family bathroom on this floor has a bath and shower.
Second Floor
Having ascended the final flight of stairs you reach the second floor landing crowned with a high roof lantern. Bedroom 4 can be made up as a twin room or a superking and enjoys fantastic views of Bamburgh Castle.
Bedroom five has a king size bed. There is also a well sized shower room on the second floor.

The North Northumberland coastline offers visitors a huge number of things to do, including walking, golf, boat trips, fishing, bird watching, tennis and horse riding. There are magical castles to visit and miles of long, sandy beaches to enjoy.

Upon request and additional costs apply: private chef, guided Northumbrian safaris, food delivery, family photographer, weekly maid services, mid week linen change and a local team on hand should you require any assistance during your stay.
Ocean Club, Seahouses
The owners of Hill Head have provided all guests with corporate membership of The Ocean Club in Seahouses (nominal entrance fee payable). Guests can enjoy the following facilities during their stay.
