Farne Retreat

This lovely cottage is situated in the peaceful location of ‘old’ Seahouses and is nestled amongst the smokeries and traditional fisherman’s cottages. It is just a few metres to Seahouses Harbour with wonderful views stretching out to the Farne Islands and Bamburgh Castle.

Seahouses golf course is within walking distance of the property, and if it is walking you like, then the wonderful sandy beaches around you offer a real treat.

Ground Floor

Kitchen with all modern electric facilities, large open plan living room and dining area with wood burning stove.

First Floor

3 Bedrooms, consisting of a double, twin and single, all fitted with wardrobes and drawers. The twin also has a small TV and DVD player.  All of the bedrooms benefit from partial sea views. Family bathroom with shower over bath.

Facilities

Large Flat screen TV with freeview, DVD, CD player, electric oven & hob, washing machine, microwave, wood burning stove , DVD collection and selection of books and maps. 2nd smaller TV and DVD player in twin room.

All linen and towels are provided. Electric and central heating are included.

Dedicated parking space and outdoor seating area.

Activities

Walking, golf, boat trips, fishing, diving, bird watching and horse riding. There  castle and other historic landmarks to visit along with miles of long, sandy beaches to enjoy. The historic towns of Berwick and Alnwick are just a short car trip away.
