Doris Cottage is situated in the quiet fishing village of Beadnell. The Cottage has a wonderful enclosed garden stretching from the front to the rear of the property. With the option of two beaches (one within 150 yards) visitors will be spoilt for choice, with views out to the Farne Islands from the 'Haven' beach, and the sandy coastline leading to Duntanburgh Castle is a Beadnell Bay trademark sight. The village store is within 100 yards, along with the choice of two pubs/hotels just a short (2 minute) stroll up the road.
Doris Cottage has been refurbished during early 2011 and boasts a new kitchen and re-decoration throughout along with new luxury beds will delight both returning and new guests.

Activities
The Northumberland coastline offers visitors a huge number of things to do, including walking, golf, boat trips, fishing, diving, bird watching and horse riding. There are also magical castles to visit and miles of long, sandy beaches to enjoy. The historic towns of Berwick and Alnwick (don't forget the Castle, Alnwick Garden and Barter books) are just a short car trip away.
