Braidcarr Cottage

This delightful two storey house is situated in a peaceful location amidst the smokeries and traditional fisherman’s cottages of Seahouses. It is just a few minutes stroll to the harbour and the many restaurants and bars in the village. Bamburgh is a mere 3 miles away with its famous castle, beaches and sand dunes ready for you to explore.

Braidcarr has benefited in mid 2010 from a refurbishment and you will notice the tasteful décor, furnishings and original artwork throughout. This property sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms - should you need to accommodate an extea guest there is also the use of a sofabed.

Ground Floor

The ground floor is open plan and offers comfy sofa and armchairs, a wood burning stove, large flat screen TV along with a well equipped kitchen and dining area.  This property also boasts a very useful downstairs cloakroom. There is a quiet little seating area to the rear of the cottage which allows guests to enjoy the sun.

First Floor

A very spacious master bedroom with a luxury king size bed and pocket sprung mattress dressed with fine Egyptian linens and ample storage in wardrobes, drawers and bedside tables.  Twin bedded room, again with plenty of storage. Bright, modern family bathroom with a shower over the bath.

Facilities

Large Flat screen TV with freeview, DVD, CD player, WiFi, electric oven & hob, coffee machine, IP docking station, washing machine, microwave and telephone. Travel cot and high chair are both provided. There is also CD & DVD collection and extensive selection of books and maps. All linen and towels are provided. Electric and heating are included. Dedicated parking space.

Activities

The North Northumberland coastline offers visitors a huge number of things to do, including walking, golf, boat trips, fishing, diving, bird watching and horse riding. There are magical castles to visit and miles of long, sandy beaches to enjoy. The historic towns of Berwick and Alnwick are just a short car trip away.
