Located at Tughall Steads, a quiet hamlet situated on an organic coastal farm, Barn Close is a beautifully presented self catering holiday cottage offering accommodation for six guests.  A quiet and peaceful retreat, it serves as an excellent base for exploring the stunning coastline and countryside of Northumberland.  A short drive, or cycle, will take you to the breathtaking beaches and charming fishing villages of Seahouses, Beadnell and Newton-by-the-Sea. 

Alternatively, travel 9 miles inland and you will reach the idyllic market town of Alnwick.  Along with a fantastic variety of shops, cafes and restaurants, it also boasts The Garden - an ever popular and family friendly visitor attraction, and the magnificent Alnwick Castle - home to the Duke of Northumberland and featured in the Harry Potter film productions. 

Barn Close is a fantastic, well appointed property in a converted stone farm building enjoying a secluded, tranquil location.  The outdoor space offers a patio area with garden furniture and barbeque. The cottage is also pet friendly.

Ground Floor

he sizable kitchen is light and airy with plenty cupboard space and ample work surface.  It is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, toaster, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.  A large dining table with chairs is also contained within the kitchen.

The living area is spacious and bright with comfortable seating, tasteful furnishings and a wood-burning stove creating a restful, relaxing ambiance.  A flat screen TV, WiFi, Blu-Ray DVD player, CD player and iPod docking station are on-hand for your entertainment.

A double bedroom, pleasantly calming in décor, has a TV, bedside units with reading lamps and storage facilities. 

A convenient shower room with WC and hand basin is also located on the ground floor.

First Floor

A pretty double bedroom is furnished with bedside units, reading lamps and storage facilities.

A twin room, perfect for sharing, comes with night lights, storage facilities and TV.

The family bathroom is well equipped and finished to a high standard.
